Chef Jujo is a native of Asturias, Northern Spain, an area rich in gastronomy. He started cooking at a young age. He trained in different kitchens throughout Spain. This made him become familiar with the great variety of the Spanish and Mediterranean food culture. He was always learning and looking for ways to improve his cooking skills, which led him to London in search of new knowledge.
He continued travelling through Europe; Italy, France, Portugal, until one day he decided to go to America. Chef Jujo lived in different American countries, like Argentina, Chile and the United States, for a short period of time.
For years he worked together with several of the most influential chefs in Spain and with Michelin Star Chefs. This helped him to create his own cooking style and ideas.
Chef Jujo was part of a reality TV show called “All against chef”. He also created his own catering service.
After several years in restaurants and hotels, working as a chef, he decided to expose his knowledge and skills as a private chef in villas and exclusive resorts, both in Costa Rica (Manuel Antonio, Santa Teresa and Tamarindo) and on the island of Ibiza (Spain).
Being respectful, caring, responsible and orderly makes Jujo an enthusiastic chef. He cares about customer service and is always trying to unite different flavors, tastes and palates to create an unforgettable experience.
